Today was Hat Day for Unified Spirit Week. We wore hats today to emphasize that we can be the same (wearing a hat) and different (with different hat slogans) at the same time.

Beckwith Buddies is a peer mentoring program to assist selected 4th grade students from Palmer River Elementry School with the transition to Beckwith Middle School. This program is run by Erica Evans, Rebecca Beneduce, Andrea Kramer and Sarah Gates.
In Mrs. Darmody's Computer class, 7th graders have "become the teacher" as they assist classmates as they code on Scratch.mit.edu!
The BMS Softball Team celebrating their championship with ice cream
Yesterday, the BMS Girls Softball Team clinched the Massasoit League Championship!!! They scored 21 runs to defeat Bridgewater. #wearethechampions
For today's Unified Spirit Day, students and staff were to wear glasses. This spirit day was chosen so people have a chance to see other people in a new light or way. For example, if you just meet somebody new, you can notice they're different, but if you are around them enough, you can see that they are the same as us.
